Welcome to Go AL1S! We’re honored to be part of one of the most exciting milestones in your amateur radio experience.

My name is Jeff Hankins, and my amateur radio callsign is AL1S. I earned my Technician license on September 8, 2025, followed just ten days later by my General license. Shortly afterward, I became a Volunteer Examiner (VE), and in January 2026, I earned my Amateur Extra Class license.

It didn’t take long for amateur radio, and volunteer examining, to become a passion. By July 2026, I had participated in more than 300 online exam sessions. With that experience and a desire to help others begin their own amateur radio journey, I founded Go AL1S on July 4, 2026, and assembled a team of dedicated Volunteer Examiners committed to providing an exceptional testing experience.

At Go AL1S, our mission is simple: to provide a professional, welcoming, and stress-free amateur radio testing experience. Our Volunteer Examiners are friendly, courteous, and dedicated to creating a relaxed, supportive environment where every candidate feels comfortable. Whether you’re earning your first license or upgrading your operating privileges, we’re committed to making your exam session as smooth, enjoyable, and positive as possible.
