Remember, the FCC will process your information after you pass the exam and submit your forms. Expect an email within 1-2 business days asking for your $35 license fee. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder; you can also log into CORES to check!
**Important Payment Tips:**
– You have 10 calendar days to pay the application fee after your file number is issued.
– It’s recommended to make payments on a desktop or laptop, as mobile devices can be finicky!
– If you pay by 5 pm EST, you should receive your call sign by the following morning.
The $35 fee covers an upgrade to General and/or Amateur Extra; you only need to pay the testing fee.
